I am the author of Contemporary Quilt Art: An Introduction and Guide, published by Indiana University Press in 2008, and of several articles about textile art and artists. I have been a juror for national and regional quilt exhibits, lectured on the subject of textile traditions in contemporary quilts at The Textile Museum in Washington DC and Baylor University, and taught construction techniques at Indiana University.
