My Ruins series explores the visual landscape left behind as layers of time, gravity, weather, and other natural forces cause changes in our man-made and natural environments. Digital art based on original photographs was created by layering several images: rock walls, drippy graffiti lines, water flowing over a rock, and more. The layers of imagery evoke mountain landscapes, crumbling walls, old castles, ghost towns, archaeological digs, or the fireplaces and chimneys left standing vigil after a wildfire has swept through.
