My inspiration comes from the world around me. With my travels world-wide, I am always comforted to return to green prairies of Minnesota. This day while travelling along these beautiful newly growing fields, I was overcome by the color and gentle sunshine. This sent my thoughts to my husband and I was warmed by the sun and thoughts of him. The quilt is machine-quilted and pieced with random, gently curved lines. Raw-edge applique represents the field. Text is hand-written in ink. 24 x 56 |
